There are two similarly named sites in this corner of the internet, and people land on the wrong one regularly. Here's the difference, stated plainly.

We have no complaint about it. It's a different product, made by different people, solving a related problem in a different way. It's simply not us, and the names are one hyphen apart.
How to tell which one you're on
Check the address bar for the hyphen. Then:
- This site has no ads. If you're seeing advertising, you're on the other one.
- This site sells a Windows application. If the watermarking is happening inside your browser, you're on the other one.
- Our email address ends in
@tsr-soft.comor@watermark-image.com. - Our downloads are
WatermarkImageSetup.exe, served from watermark-image.com.
If you're deciding between them
Genuinely different tools for different jobs.
The browser tool is a better fit if you need a few images watermarked right now, you're on a machine where you can't install software, or you're on a Mac, a Chromebook or a phone. It costs nothing.
Ours is a better fit if you have hundreds or thousands of images, you want your EXIF, XMP and IPTC copyright data preserved through the batch, you want the same settings applied identically every time, you want finished files uploaded straight to WordPress or FTP, you want the whole thing scriptable from the command line, or you'd rather your photographs never touched anyone's server.
That last point is the one worth thinking about if your images are client work, property interiors, photographs of children, or anything covered by an NDA or a data-processing agreement. An installed application can be tested: disconnect the machine from the network and run a batch. If it finishes, nothing was uploaded, and you can demonstrate that to anyone who asks.

If you paid for a licence and you're not sure who you paid:
